Jenny Kollander, Account Manager Prior to joining Rickert Media in 1989, Jenny Kollander worked in the Travel Marketing Department of Northwest Airlines, where she had the opportunity to travel the world, including Asia, Europe and Australia. This background provided great insight into travel marketing sales, which has been an impetus for her success at Rickert Media, where she has consistently been a top performer in ad sales with each and every client she has represented. Kollander has concentrated her sales efforts within the Travel category and is currently responsible for AAA Magazine Network, Canadian Automobile Association's Westworld titles, and our newest Travel publication, the USA Travel Guide. Other titles she has been responsible for include Canadian Travel Press Weekly, Historic Traveler, and Great Lakes Group Tour Magazine.
Jean Madson, Account Manager Jean Madson has over 22 years experience in the publishing and sales training industries, holding positions as Associate Publisher at Business Ethics magazine and Trainer and Sales Associate for the Covey Leadership Center of Minnesota founded by Stephen Covey. Madson has focused the past 13 years with Rickert Media on exceeding advertising revenues for clients while organizing meaningful sponsorship opportunities. Current clients include Bayard International Publishing. Other titles she has been responsible for include New York Stock Exchange magazine, Flower & Garden, McDonald Corporation's Relax magazine, Family Digest, M Magazine for Montessori Families, Online Investor, Old Farmer's Almanac, Family Times, Texas Parks & Wildlife, Hallmark and Continental Inflight magazine.
Lisa Kollander, Account Manager Lisa Kollander has over 18 years in advertising and promotional sales and sales management, six years as an independent representative and 12 years with Rickert Media. As an independent, Kollander managed ad sales for the central U.S. territory for C-E Communications in Detroit, Michigan overseeing the development of advertising in Farmer’s Insurance Group’s Friendly Exchange and Chevrolet’s Corvette Quarterly magazine. With Rickert Media, Kollander managed and sold for Bayard International, AMI Companies, Reuters International and Unique Screen Media, continually performing as the top sales person for each medium represented. She continually directs each of her clients in the changing media industry.
Pat Rickert, Account Manager For nearly 50 years, Pat Rickert has been successfully associated with outstanding companies in Sales and Management positions in the advertising area. Starting in 1959 with KELO-land Radio and Television in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Pat was a TV Account Representative, then was promoted to Radio Sales Manager and eventually Station Manager of KELO Radio. In 1969, Rickert returned to his home area of Minneapolis, Minnesota and continued his broadcast career for the next 15 years with WTCN-TV as an Account Executive. In 1974 Rickert became Sales Manager of U-100 AM/FM. As Vice President of Concepts in Communications beginning in 1981, Rickert dealt almost exclusively with retail account market planning. In 1983, he began an 18 year career with Naegele Outdoor as an Account Executive. Thereafter, Pat joined Rickert Media in October 2001 as Senior Account Manager, where he works on the AD Ink Network account; directly handles key accounts and agencies for Time, Inc. for the NYSE and Proto magazines; manages the Midwest sales activities for Lions International Magazine; and works on key accounts and agencies for AMI Companies, principally focused on their Dasher Media division. |
